MCP Shelf

Terms of use

Last changed 26 October 2026.

MCP Shelf is a free guide to MCP servers. By using it you agree to the few rules below.

You run the servers, not us

Every server listed here is made and published by someone else. We describe it, check its package and try starting it, but we do not review its code for security and we cannot promise it is safe, correct or still the same as when we looked. An MCP server acts with whatever access you give it, so read what it can touch before you install it and keep keys and permissions as narrow as the job allows. Configs and guides here are given as they are, without warranty, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for what happens when you run them.

Names and logos

Server names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Showing them here does not mean the owner endorses MCP Shelf, or that we are paid by them: placements on the shelf are not for sale. If you make a server and want something on its page changed, email us.

Our words and data

The descriptions, guides and checks on this site are written by us. You are welcome to quote short parts with a link back. Please do not republish whole pages or scrape the site in bulk: the public API and MCP endpoint exist so you do not have to. Use them at a polite pace, and we may slow down or block traffic that harms the site.

What you send us

When you suggest a server or send a listing, you confirm the details are honest and that you may share them. We decide what goes on the shelf and may edit, shorten or turn down any suggestion. Adding our badge to your site is optional and never affects the decision.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site grows; the date at the top shows the latest change. Questions go to mcpshelf@gmail.com. How we handle personal details is covered on the privacy page.
