What is ReMCP?

You pair a machine once with a small connector, and a coding assistant elsewhere can then browse its files, run commands, drive its browser or desktop and take screenshots. Everything runs with the permissions of the account on that machine.

How do I connect ReMCP?

What you need first

OAuth sign-in from the client; the pairing step runs on the computer you want to reach.

Before you add any community server

  • Hosted servers see whatever you send them. Check who runs it and what the sign-in can reach.
  • Servers that run on your computer can do what your user account can. Read the repository first.
  • Keep your app's “ask before each tool call” setting on until you trust it.
